We just wanted to post a quick note of appreciation to everyone who participated in this campaign. We are so excited to bring Rising Fear to life, and we couldn't have done it without each and every one of you.
We will be in touch regularly over the next few weeks. We have a few more surveys to complete in order to finish up the new Skullduggery party, and we will want to organize some final playtesting of the new rules very soon as well. If you enjoy that process, keep an eye out for it during December and January!
We will pause for a deep breath (and your holiday shopping) before sending out the backer surveys and getting your shipping info, but don't fret - we'll get them out to you in plenty of time.

The Skullduggery Party has assembled! Let's submit some team names!

The gang's all here!
Thanks to your hundreds and hundreds of votes, we now have the four Heroes that will make up the new Skullduggery party. Our hope was that we'd end up with a Party with four very unique and different Heroes, but one that still feels like a cohesive team. Looking at the lineup above, we think you crushed it on both counts! Huzzah!
But who, exactly, ARE these folks? The next step in that process is a bit more tricky - we need to name this Party. With the storied tale of Boaty McBoatface fresh in our minds (if you don't know, Google it!) we are going to take this in two stages. Survey number one, with the link below, will allow all of you to submit whatever name you want - go as serious or as silly as you like. After receiving your submissions, we will compile a short list that represents the vibe you're all feeling, while still staying true to the product we're creating. Then we will hold a second round of voting to select the winner.
Next steps
Meanwhile, we're sharing these art pieces to our 3D model artist to get feedback on which are best-suited to render as a mini. We will take your votes on this at some point as well, but we want to eliminate any candidate that wouldn't work well as a mini, or would require significant revision.

First look at the new glow-in-the-dark Ring of Chaos!

The Ring beckons...
We wanted the Ring in our horror-themed Rising Fear expansion to look the part. When the idea of a glow-in-the-dark version came up it seemed like the perfect fit, but it's been a tricky process to get the design right. We finally have a version that we're excited about and wanted to share! We'll have better photos when the physical sample makes it into our hands, but here's a still from the factory video to give you an idea.
And remember, the Total Chaos box contains BOTH this version of the Ring as well as the Classic version - so no matter which product you back in this campaign, you'll get the glow-in-the-dark Ring!
Campaign ends December 1st
We're in the last days of the campaign and gearing up for the final push. If there's anyone in your life (or following your socials) who might enjoy an exciting board game, please share our info! We really appreciate your help and support.

Three down, one to go!!!
Thanks to your hundreds of votes, we've now selected the third Hero for our new Skullduggery Party, to be included in Rising Fear Unleashed and Total Chaos. We'll admit we were surprised by the winner, but definitely not disappointed: this nasty little blood sorcerer will fit right in.
Now we just need to select our final companion.

Two Heroes selected... it's starting to look like a team!
Well, the first survey was close, but this second one qualifies as an absolute thrashing: the skeletal paladin was a runaway winner. We're starting to get a feeling for the type of Skullduggery team you all want, and it ain't the Los Angeles Dodgers. It's actually super creepy, in the best possible way!
